Piersica: Leonforte's peach distillate.
In collaboration with Giovi’s distillery, founded "Piersica", september Leonforte’s peach distillate. "Piersica" is the dialect peach name. "Piersica" distillate is produced strictly and exclusively by the sunny fermentation and subsequent distillation of Leonforte’s peaches.
The alembic used is a discontinuous type, and the alcohol content is 44% vol.
Card prepared by Pino Perrone, sommelier and connoisseur of local products:
Color: clear, colorless.
Aroma: after fresh and intense water sensations of roses floreal -balsamiche of Mediterranean and gentian root, the bouquet evolves clearly towards the fruity with evidence plum, and finally on the late peach background.
Palate: gently warm entrance with elegant and balanced alcohol. In the aftertaste fruity notes they are much more clear and persuasive and accompany us towards a pleasantly lingering finish.
